Hulu’s Elaine Paul makes the move to Amazon

Amazon Prime Day is apparently not just for consumers: Hulu CFO Elaine Paul has reportedly taken advantage of a job offer with the internet retailer.

Paul had been with Hulu since 2013 and prior to that served as SVP of corporate strategy at the Walt Disney Company, which now controls the streaming service. Paul managed several acquisitions and major investments for Disney, including the original 2009 deal that gave it 27 percent ownership of Hulu.

Before joining Disney, Paul — who has an MBA from Harvard Business School and went to Stanford undergrad — was an associate at McKinsey & Company and an analyst at Morgan Stanley. [The Information]
